2 Thessalonians 2:9-12

⁹ The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, ¹⁰ and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. ¹¹ And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, ¹² that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The above verses describe what must happen before our Lord Yeshua returns for us. In previous articles I have described how the Antichrist/Mahdi will come into power. But just how can he deceive so many people? As Abraham Lincoln once said: “You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.”

So how can the Antichrist fool everyone that is not saved? God himself will send a strong delusion into the world so that all unbelievers would believe the lies of the Antichrist. I will not debate whether or not we may think it is right or not, but let’s take a look at the world today.

United States

Liberals here in the United States have long preached tolerance to our nation. But today we are more intolerant than ever. With just things like “political correctness” and now what the media calls the polarization of America we are more divided in more ways than ever before. I cannot think of even one person who would fully agree with another. Not even those of the same church or denomination.

America’s political future has been in jeopardy for a long time. But now more so than ever. It is no longer a liberal vs. conservative debate; no it goes much deeper than that. Because of the sins of our nation and that of a “people” we like Israel have forsaken our covenant that our forefathers made with Yahweh almost 236 years ago. It has been that covenant and our friendship with Israel that has kept God’s blessing upon us. Now our sins of following other gods, murdering babies via abortion, and not living up to our covenant with the Lord God King of the Universe, and of course Obama abandoning Israel politically, God’s blessings have lifted from us. We are now on our own.

We are now on our own with a mountain of debt that can never be paid back. We are on our own with “Future Debt” that will be impossible to pay. We are on our own with a declining population that seeks only its own pleasure and wealth. Yes, we are on our own…

We have fallen away from God and his covenant promises.

Europe’s Political Change

The past few months there have been changes in Europe that I thought I would never see again in my lifetime. Europe’s elections have taken people like president Sarkozy of France, and  Christian Wulff of Germany out of power and have replaced them with ultra-left-wing radicals. In Greece they elected over 20 Nazi’s to power. In WWII the Nazis killed over 10% of the Grecian population. Now just 70 years removed they elected the same group of people that slaughtered them into power. Europe once again is now starting to fall into the political problems it had 70 years ago when Germany lead by Adolf Hitler ravaged Europe and killed over 6 million Jews in a holocaust as well as millions more Europeans.

The Arab Spring

Starting the last quarter of 2010 marked the beginning of what is now called the “Arab Spring”. In the past year and a half we have seen many Arab regimes toppled and replaced by the fundamental Islamists. I believe we will soon see the rise of the antichrist and his beast empire. I know what you’re thinking. Your thinking ‘oh come on, how you know that?’ let me explain:

Since the death of the 7^th empire to rule the Middle East (the Islamic empire) in 1924 when the Turks dissolved the caliphate in 1928 the Muslim Brotherhood has been working to resurrect the beast to establish a global caliphate under the rule of the Mahdi/Antichrist. So far the Muslim Brotherhood has been wildly successful. And now leading the Arab spring they now control most of the Middle East. The Arabs have risen up to put fundamentalist Islamist into power because they are united in the cause of re-establishing the Caliphate.

The media has called the Arab spring a freedom revolution, that the Arab population wants democracy, that that just is not true. All the new governments that have risen to power in the Arab spring have largely been fundamental Islamists. These Islamists have been calling for the caliphate, and do not want democracy in any way shape or form. So how could the media be so wrong?

Conclusion

Now I know what you’re asking yourself, what does 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 have to do with the political changes in Europe and the Middle East? Let me explain:

The first thing we must answer is how do we get three or four generations of people in Europe to forget what happened in WWI and WWII? There must be people still alive in Greece that had family members who were killed by the Nazis. How could the French and the Germans forget what Nazi Germany did just three generations ago. How could you get Nazis and communists into power after WWII and the cold war?

I believe the answer is that the “Strong Delusion” is upon the world this very minute. How else could so many Americans vote someone like president Obama into office? How could we be so polarized against each other? It would take this “Strong Delusion” upon the populace for unbelievers to believe the lie.

Part of what we are seeing in America is Christians seeing the truth and wondering why others cannot grasp what is happening. Christians are standing up to attempt to keep America free and under the covenant we as a nation have been under with God for almost 236 years. But if the caliphate is to rise to power then America has to decline in power. And in order for America to decline our population has to fall out of the covenant that our forefathers established between the American people and Yahweh. A majority of the American people have turned their hearts and minds from God to worship other Gods and have fallen away from the faith.

The falling away that is spoken of in the same chapter in 2 Thessalonians 2:3

^“3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin^[a] is revealed, the son of perdition,”

I believe Paul inspired by the Holy Spirit was telling us exactly what was going to happen. That in order to deceive all of the people all of the time the “Strong Delusion” would fall on unbelievers and those in the church that really were not saved to begin with and they would “Fall Away” as it were into the unbelievers camp, thus making the way for the beast empire and ultimately the return of our Lord and Savior Yeshua.

I believe in the coming months we will see the resurrection of the caliphate and hell on earth for Christians and Jews alike.

Lord Jesus I ask that you forgive me of all my sins. I confess that I have sinned before you and others. I went my own way, but now I renounce those old and evil ways and ask that you come into my heart, take over my life, free me from the bondage of sin, and make me your disciple. I ask that you send your Holy Spirit upon me and fill me. Cause the scales to drop from my eyes, open my spiritual ears that I may hear your voice. Thank you for setting me free. I Jesus Holy name, Amen.
