Over the centuries there has been much speculation about the Anti-Christ. Some have said he would be a Jew, some said he would be of the “Western” Roman Empire, and some have said he would be Middle Eastern.

In the past I have written about how I believe that the Anti-Christ is the Islamic Mahdi. This article endeavors to provide a more exhaustive proof of why I believe what I do.

In Chapter 17 of the Book of the Revelation we are provided with some key information which is generally overlooked. In that chapter, Antichrist is referred to as the beast. In verse 3 we are told the beast has seven heads and ten horns (verse 3). Fortunately, verses 9-10 give some indication of what this means. "The seven heads are ... seven kings ..." Then we get a further explanation of these kings:

Five have fallen, one (the sixth) is, the other (the seventh) "has not yet come; and when he comes, he must remain a little while."

Then we learn from verse 11 that the end-time beast "an eighth" is also "one of the seven." That is to say, he will be a repeat of one of the seven. If, on the other hand, kings refers to world empires and/or their rulers (i.e., Alexander/Greece, Caesar/Rome, Hitler/Germany, etc.) then we have the following picture:

Five (empires) have fallen: One is (the Roman), another (the seventh) that will come and remain only a little while is the Islamic Empire that took over the Roman. Remember that the Roman Empire ceased to exist in the West and moved to the east (Byzantium in Turkey).

"And the beast which was, and is not, is himself also an eighth and is one of the seven, and he goes to destruction". Do you see the "WAS" above? Do you see the "and IS NOT"?

At the time John wrote Revelation the Roman Empire was ruling, yet John specifically says "is not". This rules out the Revived Roman Empire theory.

Some say that this beast is Satan who will be shot and revived, so he is not at the time when John was writing, and we ask: Was Satan ruling before and stopped at the time of John, and later he will take control again? It will not fit in this context at all. This indeed sounds absurd, Scripture specifically qualifies this beast as "The BEAST which was and is not" verse 11.

The Beast is and always has been a world government with a king, or a government with many kings. In verse 10 "AND THEY ARE (the seven heads, mountains) seven kings, FIVE HAVE FALLEN, one IS, the OTHER has NOT YET COME, he must remain a little while". Do you see "AND THEY ARE"?

Rome, the idea many have of it being the city of "seven hills", and it may have been built on seven hills, but the word in the Greek in that verse is "OROS" which means mountain. This is distinct from "BOUNOS", which is the Greek word for hill.

Revelation 17 gives a snapshot of the entire Babylonian influence were man sinned and were disbursed. This includes all the empires with their "Babylonian" false religions. Islam's crescent moon in reality stems from Babylonia. The moon god was worshipped even in Roman times. A coin depicting Hadrian and the moon-god on it can be seen in fig below.

HADRIAN, AD 117-138

In 217 AD Emperor Caracalla was killed after he was returning from visiting the temple of the moon god in Harran. In 363 AD Emperor Julian paid his respects to the temple of Sin. In the Doctrine of Addai, the author writes of the moon god at Harran. Jacob of Serug also writes of the god Sin, the moon god of Harran.

The "Mystery Babylon" stemmed from Babylon and lived throughout history in every empire in the east. It will end up being destroyed when Islam falls.

The problem with many interpretations rose because many interpreters failed to see what "beast" fully meant. They implied only one meaning or an "either or", yet ignoring that in all prophetic Scripture "beast" has been written in both contexts being a man, also an empire, and man-with-empire (Kingdom & King). In Daniel we see it clearly:

"These great BEASTS are four in number ARE four KINGS who WILL arise from the earth". Here "Beasts" are kings.

Mountains/Heads/Kings are also symbols of beasts, kings and kingdoms:

"Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. They are also seven kings".

Here the seven heads are seven mountains (verse 9) AND THEY ARE seven kings.

So, the heads are "Mountains (kingdoms/empires)" and "kings (seven kings)".

Now verse 10:

"AND THEY ARE (the seven heads, mountains, empires/kingdoms and kings) seven kings, FIVE HAVE FALLEN, one IS, the OTHER has NOT YET COME, he must remain a little while". The usage of "AND THEY ARE" is significant since this combines all of them together. The BIBLE clearly is the authority and it gives the interpretation already.

Also they are FALLEN IN THE PAST. What KINGS have FALLEN IN THE PAST when John wrote Revelations? Jeremiah also confirms that a "Mountain" is an "Empire", as he addressed end-times Mystery Babylon:

"And I will repay Babylon and all the inhabitants of Chaldea for all the evil they have done in Zion in your sight," says the LORD. "Behold, I am against you, O destroying MOUNTAIN, Who destroys all the earth," says the LORD. "And I will stretch out My hand against you, roll you down from the rocks, and make you a burnt mountain. They shall not take from you a stone for a corner nor a stone for a foundation, but you shall be desolate forever," says the LORD. (Jer.51:25,26)

He calls Babylon a mountain. It can be clearly seen from these scriptures that mountains, prophetically speaking, refer to kingdoms/empires. With this in mind, let us take a close look at what John is actually saying:

"So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven MOUNTAINS on which the woman sits. (Revelation 17: 3, 9).

The seven Mountains here ties with the 10 kings. So the angel is clearly referring to 7 kingdoms that occur over a span of time: past, present and future. At the time the angel was speaking this to John, he says that 5 of the kingdoms had "fallen". These are kingdoms that had arisen and fallen before John's time. The angel says that one is. In other words, the sixth kingdom the angel is referring to is in power in John's time, even as the angel is saying this to John. Then the angel says "the other has not yet come", telling John that the 7th kingdom is a future kingdom.

Finally, the angel directly addresses the identity and kingdom ancestry of the last-days Beast power. The angel says that the seventh "is himself also an eighth, and is of the seven". What does this mean?

The first empire to control the Middle East was the Old Babylonian Empire.
The second empire to control the Middle East was the Assyrian Empire.
The third empire to control the Middle East was the New Babylonian Empire.
The fourth empire to control the Middle East was the Persian Empire.
The fifth empire to control the area of the Middle East was the Grecian Empire.

These five empires are the "five (that) have fallen" at the time of John.

The sixth empire to control the area of the Middle East was the Roman Empire (as clearly identified by the angel in Revelation), which during John's time (approximately 100 A.D.) was at the height of it's power.

The seventh empire to control the area of the Middle East was the Arab Muslim Empire which the angel told John, "the other has not yet come".

Yet, Scripture even offers an interpretation. With all this in mind, let us take another look at Revelation 17:7-11:

"But the angel said to me, "Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns. The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time. And the beast that was, and is not, is himself also an eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition.

The beast the woman rides is all the Empires past, present, and future. The 7th empire being the Muslim Empire.

Ezekiel 38 could very well include Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Sudan, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey, Chechnya, Azerbaijan, Girgistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Bosnia, and Psalm 83 which is a continuation of the Arab Israeli wars could include Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, and Iraq. Psalm 83 started in the Arab-Israeli wars and is not completed, since verse 18 "Let them know that you, whose name is the LORD - that you alone are the Most High over all the earth" has not been fulfilled.

Now that we have seen what the Bible has to say. Let’s see what Islam has to say.

Umm Salamah reported that the Prophet (sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) said,

"People will begin to differ after the death of a Khaleefah. A man from the people of Madinah will flee to Makkah. Some of the people of Makkah will come to him and drag him out against his will; they will swear allegiance to him between al-Rukn and al-Maqam. An army will be sent against him from Syria; it will be swallowed up in the desert between Makkah and Madinah. When the people see this, groups of people from Syria and Iraq will come and swear allegiance to him. Then a man from Quraysh whose mother is from Kalb will appear and send an army against them, and will defeat them; this will be known as the Battle of Kalb. Whoever does not witness the spoils of this battle will miss much! The Mahdee will distribute the wealth, and will rule the people according to the Sunnah of the Prophet (sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam). Then he will die, and the Muslims will pray for him." [Abu Daawood] [10]

After the lesser signs of the Hour appear and increase, mankind will have reached a stage of great suffering. Then the awaited Mahdee will appear; he is the first of the greater, and clear, signs of the Hour. There will be no doubt about his existence, but this will only be clear to the knowledgeable people. The Mahdee will rule until the False Messiah (al-Maseeh ad-Dajjaal) appears, who will spread oppression and corruption. The only ones who will know him well and avoid his evil will be those who have great knowledge and Eemaan (faith).

The false Messiah will remain for a while, destroying mankind completely, and the earth will witness the greatest Fitnah (tribulation) in its history. Then the Messiah Jesus (alayhi salam) will descend, bringing justice from heaven. He will kill the Dajjaal, and there will be years of safety and security.

Then the appearance of Ya'jooj and Ma'jooj (Gog and Magog) will take mankind by surprise, and corruption will overtake them again. In answer to Jesus' faithful prayer to Allaah (subhanahu wa ta'aala), they will die, and safety, security, justice and stability will return.

This state of affairs will continue for some years, until the death of Jesus.

"The Prophet (sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) said, 'The Mahdee will be one of my descendants; he will have a high forehead and a hooked nose. He will fill the earth with justice and fairness just as it was filled with injustice and oppression, and he will rule for seven years.'" [Abu Daawood] [8]

The Ulamaa differ concerning the order in which the other greater signs of the Hour will come about. They are:

• The destruction of the Ka'bah and the recovery of its treasure.

• The rising of the sun from the west.

• The emergence of the Beast from the earth.

• The smoke.

• A wind will take the souls of the believers.

• The Qur'aan will be taken up into heaven.

• A fire will drive the people to their last gathering place.

• The Trumpet will be sounded: at the first sound everyone will feel terror; at the second sound all will be struck down; at the last sound all will be resurrected.

"The Prophet (sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) said,'Three men will be killed at the place where your treasure is. Each of them will be the son of a Khaleefah, and none of them will get hold of the treasure. Then the black banners will come out of the East, and they will slaughter you in a way which has never been seen before.' Then he said something which I do not remember; then, 'If you see him, go and give him your allegiance, even if you have to crawl over ice, because he is the Khaleefah of Allaah, the Mahdee.'" [Ibn Maajah] [15]

The treasure referred to in this text is the treasure of the Ka'bah. Towards the end of time, three of the sons of the Khaleefahs will fight to get hold of it, until the Mahdee appears. He will appear from the East, not from the tunnel of Saamarraa, as the Shee'ah claim; they believe that he is in this tunnel now, and they are waiting for him to emerge at the end of time. There is no evidence for it in any book or Saheeh tradition, and there is no benefit in believing this.

The truth of the matter is that the Mahdee whose coming is promised at the end of time will appear from the East, and people will swear allegiance to him at the Ka'bah, as some Ahaadeeth indicate.

At the time of the Mahdee, there will be peace and prosperity, with abundant crops and wealth, strong rulers, and Islaam will be well established.

Zaynab bint Jahsh said,

"The Prophet (sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) got up from his sleep; his face was flushed and he said, 'There is no god but Allaah. Woe to the Arabs, for a great evil which is nearly approaching them. Today a gap has been made in the wall of Gog and Magog like this (Sufyan illustrated this by forming the number of 90 or 100 with his fingers).' Someone asked, 'Shall we be destroyed even though there are righteous people among us?' The Prophet (sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) said, 'Yes, if evil increases.'" [Bukhaaree, Kitaab al-Fitan.]

I believe in this article I have shown much proof that the Anti-Christ can not be Roman, a Jew, or any other except for a Muslim. A Muslim that will come and make the world an offer we can not refuse. With terrorism as wide spread as it is, and the Financial Jihad being waged against us right now, the west is already on the verge or collapse. Could it be very long before our Islamic “Messiah” appears on the world stage and offers us all wealth and prosperity for the acceptance of Sharaih Law? “The time of the Mahdee, there will be peace and prosperity, with abundant crops and wealth, strong rulers, and Islaam will be well established.”

How do you think Islam will be well established? The promise will be that the world will experience the greatest wealth and prosperity it has ever had. He will end the Jihad against the west, and a seven year peace deal will be made with Israel. In addition he will give Israel permission to rebuild the temple. He will look magnanimous, and the entire world will follow him to their doom. All will sing praises to Allah the moon god and will follow the Mahdi (Anti-Christ) and the false prophet (Islamic Jesus). They will abandon their religious beliefs in order to become Muslim and have the rights and privileges of a Muslim and proper like never before, while Kafirs (Non Muslim Simi-Slaves) are beheaded for preserving their religious beliefs and not accepting Islam and Shariah law.

Now think of who would allow such a thing as America accepting Shariah law? Does not Obama have close Islamic ties? Did he not say in his book the Audacity of Hope that if things got bad he would side with the Muslims? If Mr. Obama gets into office and has a Liberal Democratic congress at his disposal then it is not too far fetched to believe that America could adopt Shariah law. Keep that in mind come November. I also want to make clear that I am in no way saying to vote for McCain. I am just pointing out possibilities in the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy.

There is a way out of this mess. Give your heart to Christ Jesus today. He will save your soul from eternal damnation. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. Not the Mahdi, nor Mohammad, Buddha, Christener, or the Easter bunny can save you from spending eternity in the lake of fire. Only Jesus can save you.

If you want to accept Christ Jesus into your life just pray this simple prayer.

Lord Jesus I ask you for forgiveness of my sins. Please forgive all the sins that I have committed both knowingly and unknowingly. I confess the sins of my for-fathers, and I renounce all other spiritual beliefs and accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Please enter into every part of my life and give me a new heart. Thank you Lord Jesus for loving me so much, dying for my sins on the cross, and rising from the grave three days later. In Jesus name I pray these things, Amen.
