WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The CIA blames al Qaeda and allies of a Pakistani tribal leader for the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, CIA Director Michael Hayden said in a Washington Post interview published on Friday.

DHAKA, 18 January 2008 (IRIN) - A fresh outbreak of bird flu this week in Bangladesh has renewed fears of a possible spread: Seventy-two farms in 23 of Bangladesh's 64 districts have reportedly been infected with the deadly virus so far.

A stone seal bearing the name of one of the families who acted as
servants in the First Temple and then returned to Jerusalem after being
exiled to Babylonia has been uncovered in an archeological excavation in
Jerusalem's City of David, a prominent Israeli archeologist said Wednesday.
