WASHINGTON, April 25 (Reuters) - The U.S. Midwest has enjoyed nearly 20 years without a major drought but forecasters worry the corn belt's luck could dry up this year, further squeezing tight global supplies amid soaring food prices.

Refugees describe criminalization of faith; execution possible for owning Bible.

BANGKOK, April 25 (Compass Direct News) – In a report released this month by a U.S. government body, refugee testimonies confirm severe persecution of Christians throughout North Korea. In the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom’s report, refugees said that Christianity remained a key factor in the interrogation of people repatriated from China to North Korea.
