JERUSALEM -- The leader of the group that represents al-Qaida ideology
in the Gaza Strip warned in an interview today of "big revenge" against
the U.S. and Israel for the killing of Osama bin Laden.

An expert in global terrorism says the death of Osama bin Laden is "by no means a knockout blow".

Professor Greg Barton from Monash University described news of the al-Qaeda leader's demise as "quite remarkable", given the lack of progress in tracking the terrorist leader in the past decade, but warned America and its allies that their reaction to the news must be measured.

AL-QAEDA mastermind Osama bin Laden has been killed in a US operation in Pakistan, President Barack Obama has announced.

Bin Laden was killed in a mansion outside the capital of Islamabad nearly 10 years after the September 11 terror attacks on the World Trade Centre in New York and the Pentagon killed more than 3000 people.

least 350, making the storm the second-deadliest tornado-related
disaster in American history.
